On January 31st, the launch event of JAC Motors' RF8, the "New National Wave Intelligent Electric Hybrid MPV", was held in Songshan Lake, Dongguan, and the RF8 equipped with EVE Energy's large cylindrical battery was officially launched. As an important partner, Yanchun Zhu, Senior Vice President of EVE Power's Domestic Marketing Center, was invited to attend and witness the event together.
JAC Motors' RF8 is built based on the "MUSE Intelligent Electric Architecture", and is the first mass-produced medium and large-sized plug-in hybrid MPV under the architecture, combining multi-dimensional advantages in space, power and intelligence, redefining the new experience of "the third space of mobility", and driving the ushering in of a brand-new intelligent electric-hybrid era for China's MPVs.
JAC Motors' RF8 has a battery capacity of 44.5kWh, which ranks first among mass-produced plug-in hybrid MPVs in terms of power, and the surging power comes from the powerful inner cell. The large cylindrical battery system equipped in this model adopts a large number of lightweight and high-strength materials to realize system-level lightweight, with an energy density of up to 180Wh/kg. Meanwhile, the large cylindrical battery is equipped with a millisecond-level open-valve degassing function, which, together with the system's wrap-around cooling design, realizes the NTP (No Thermal Spreading, No Fire) for the entire life cycle.
In addition, based on the dual innovation of a large cylindrical battery material system and structure system, JAC Motor's RF8 can realize super flash charging, charging for 15mins, range of 100 kilometres, which is a truly meaningful integration of high specific energy, high safety, and ultra-fast charging.
JAC Motors, as a veteran state-owned car company, has been focusing on pure electric R&D for more than 20 years, in the long-term R&D process, JAC Motors has always put the safety of the battery in the first place, in order to completely solve the safety problem, JAC Motors almost researched all the different materials and encapsulation of the battery on the market over!

JAC Motors concluded from practical research that cylindrical batteries are the ultimate solution for high specific energy and high safety batteries, and based on this, it has launched Cellular Batteries that never spontaneously combust, which had been highly acclaimed in the market.
