On the 27th of September, the signing ceremony of the EVE energy storage and power battery project was held in Shenyang. Deputy Secretary of Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Governor Lecheng Li, Member of Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Shenyang Municipal Party Committee Xinwei Wang, Deputy Secretary of Shenyang Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Zhicheng Lv, and other leaders of relevant units in the district and city; Chairman of EVE Energy Dr. Jincheng Liu, Vice President of EVE Energy Mufen Li, and General Manager of EVE Power International Marketing Center Dr. Dongsheng Yu attended and witnessed the ceremony.
Dr. Jincheng Liu mentioned in his speech that to repair the damage done to the earth by 300 years of industrial revolution, EVE actively advocates and practices "Striving for success in the new energy era". EVE has promoted rapid development and is expected to maintain a trend of continuous growth through high-intensity investment and large-scale constructions. EVE will plan and build the first phase of the 20GWh power battery factory in Shenyang, and strive to create pioneering work in the field of low temperature in the combination with the requirements of energy storage development.
Mayor Zhicheng Lv congratulated the successful signing of the project. He pointed out that the successful signing of the project is not only a great beginning of the cooperation but also the starting point for deeper and higher cooperation. Green and low-carbon development is the theme of the era and the key to winning the future. This cooperation effectively fills the gap of Shenyang and even Liaoning province in the field of high-end manufacturing of new energy power batteries, which will definitely inject strong momentum for Shenyang, promote sustainable development and seize the development of the new energy vehicle industry.
He hopes that EVE Energy will seize the opportunity, take advantage, organize the construction scientifically, increase the investment and speed up the project construction. EVE Energy should play the leading role of the head of innovative enterprise, further integrate the power of quality resources from all sides, carry out the core technology research and transformation of major achievements, and promote the development of the whole industrial chain.
At the ceremony, Vice president of EVE Energy Co., Ltd. Mufen Li, Member of the Standing Committee of Shenyang Municipal Committee and vice mayor Zhou Zhou, and Acting mayor of Tiexi District Yongsheng Zhao signed the project-related agreement together.
According to the agreement, the EVE's energy storage and power battery project plans a total capacity of 40GWh, the total investment is expected to be 10 billion yuan. The project will be divided into two phases to construct. Among them, the first phase of the project will invest 5 billion yuan to build a 20GWh energy storage and power battery intelligent manufacturing factory and supporting facilities.
In the future, EVE Energy will deepen the cooperation between the two parties, promote and lead the high-quality development of Shenyang's new energy industry, boost the early realization of the dual carbon goal, and write a green and sustainable future together.
